Concordia’s chapter of the Alpha Kappa Mu National Honor Society recently welcomed fifteen new members at their induction ceremony on April 26, 2017.
一道本不卡免费高清Alpha Kappa Mu is a national scholarship honor society open to men and women in all academic areas who meet the requirements of the society. The purpose of Alpha Kappa Mu is to promote high scholarship, encourage sincere and zealous endeavor in all fields of knowledge and service, cultivate a high order of personal living, and develop an appreciation of scholarship and scholarly endeavor in others.
The establishment of the Concordia chapter comes after an extensive application process and review of Concordia’s curriculum and accreditation by the National Alpha Kappa Mu headquarters. The Concordia chapter was named Mu Tau and operates under the advising of Dr. Chinwe Okeke, assistant professor of Biology and honors program director. Students who were eligible to join the society were required to be at a junior or senior credit level, and meet a grade point average minimum of a 3.3 on a 4.0 scale.
