HEALTH: Concordia College offers several health plan options insurance coverage through Concordia Health Plan, administered by Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Minnesota. Any employee who works more than 20 hours per week and more than five consecutive months must be enrolled in these plans. We offer several health plan options for our employees to meet their specific needs.
RETIREMENT/DISABILITY: The Concordia Plans for Disability and Retirement are employer-sponsored benefit programs provided for full-time workers of the Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod (LCMS). This means that workers employed full time by eligible LCMS employers participating in the programs may join. After 5 years of creditable service in the Retirement plan employees are vested 100% and disability/survivor plans provide disability income or payouts to survivors upon the death of the employee or dependents. Workers include those who are called, on contract, hourly, etc. – regardless of sex, occupation, age, or faith. Any employee who works more than 20 hours per week for more than five consecutive months per year, must be enrolled in these plans.
